A small game I built by hand in React in late 2021: dealing, scoring with aces worth one or eleven, and the dealer’s turn. Most of the work after that went into making it fit and feel right on a phone, including small screens, a Safari transition bug, and haptic feedback. In early 2026 I came back to it to add an end-of-game screen, sound effects with the Web Audio API, keyboard shortcuts, and a rules screen.
Built with React and Create React App, and deployed on Netlify.
